This summary is here to help you read the page. The full wording below is what applies.
1. Who we are and what you are agreeing to
Rock Guitar Power is a trading name of Medurik Corporation. “We”, “us” and “our” mean Medurik Corporation. “You” means the person using the site.
These terms cover the public website at rockguitarpower.com, the members site at lessons.rockguitarpower.com, our emails, the free skill quiz, and the AI guitar assistant. By creating an account, starting a trial, buying anything, or simply using the site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the site. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and must be the one who pays.
- One person per account. Your login is for you only. Sharing it with other people, or letting several people learn from one account, is not allowed and can end your membership without a refund.
- Keep your password private and tell us right away at support@rockguitarpower.com if you think someone else is using your account.
- Give us accurate details (a real name and a working email address). We use your email for receipts, account notices, and, if you agree, lessons and tips.
3. What we offer
All Access membership
All Access gives you every course on the members site, including all lessons, guitar tabs and backing tracks, plus the members’ AI guitar assistant, for as long as your membership is active. Courses are not sold one at a time.
- Monthly: $9.95 per month, starting with a 7-day free trial.
- Yearly: $97 per year, charged when you join and then once a year.
- Lifetime: a one-time payment of $97, offered only during special promotions. No renewals, access for as long as Rock Guitar Power operates.
Prices are in US dollars. The price you see when you join is the price you pay, plus any sales tax the law requires.
Free things
The blog, the free backing tracks, the public AI assistant, and the free course you can earn through our skill quiz cost nothing. Free access is a gift: it is for your personal use, we may change or withdraw it at any time, and no refund can apply to something you did not pay for.
Changes to content and prices
We add, update, and occasionally retire lessons. We may change membership prices, but a price change never applies to an active membership until its next renewal, and we will email you before a higher price takes effect.
4. The 7-day free trial
- The monthly membership starts with a 7-day free trial. A payment card is required to start it, but nothing is charged during the trial.
- When the 7 days end, your card is charged $9.95 and then $9.95 every month after that, unless you cancel before the trial ends. We email you a reminder about 3 days before the first charge.
- You can cancel during the trial from Manage Billing in your account settings. If you cancel, you keep access until the trial ends and you are never charged.
- One free trial per person. If you had a trial before and come back, your membership starts with a payment.
5. Billing, renewals and payment
- Automatic renewal. Monthly and yearly memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the price you joined at, until you cancel.
- Yearly reminder. We email yearly members about 7 days before each renewal, so there are no surprise charges.
- Switching plans. You can switch between monthly and yearly in Manage Billing. The difference is pro-rated, so you only pay for what you use.
- Payment methods. Memberships are billed by card (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) through Stripe. The Lifetime option can also be bought with PayPal. Your card details go directly to Stripe or PayPal; we never see or store your full card number.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe emails you so you can update your card. If it still cannot be collected after a few tries, your membership ends and your access stops.
- Receipts. We email a receipt for every payment. Your payment history is also in Manage Billing.
6. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, with no fee and no need to explain, from Manage Billing in your account settings, or by emailing support@rockguitarpower.com. When you cancel, nothing more is charged and you keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for (or until the end of your free trial). We send a confirmation email with your access-end date.
Outside the 60-day guarantee below, payments already made are not refunded when you cancel, and unused time is not refunded in part.
7. The 60-day money-back guarantee
60 days. No questions asked.
If Rock Guitar Power is not for you, ask within 60 days and you get your money back. Just email support@rockguitarpower.com from the address on your account.
- Monthly and yearly memberships: ask within 60 days of your first payment (the free trial does not count) and we refund every membership payment you have made. Your access ends as soon as the refund is issued.
- Lifetime: ask within 60 days of your purchase and we refund the full amount. Your access ends when the refund is issued.
- Upgrading to Lifetime while on a membership: we cancel your membership right away and refund your most recent membership payment.
- After 60 days: you can still cancel at any time (section 6), but payments already made are not refunded.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method and normally appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
- The guarantee is for genuine customers. We may decline a refund to someone who repeatedly joins, consumes the courses, and asks for their money back, or who has broken these terms.
8. The free course from the skill quiz
When you take our skill quiz and give us your email address, we give you free access to the course that matches your level. That access is a gift for your own use. It can be changed or withdrawn, it does not include the other courses, and because nothing was paid, no refund applies. If you later start an All Access membership, the free course is simply part of it.
9. How you may use the lessons
What you can do
As long as your account is in good standing, you may watch the lessons, use the tabs, chord charts and backing tracks, and download the materials we make downloadable (such as tab ZIP files) for your own personal, non-commercial guitar practice, on any of your own devices.
What you cannot do
- Share your login, or let anyone else learn from your account.
- Download, record, screen-capture, copy, or re-upload the lesson videos. Videos are for streaming inside the members site only.
- Resell, give away, post online, or otherwise distribute any lesson, tab, backing track, or other course material, in whole or in part.
- Use the materials to teach paying students, build your own course, or train an AI system.
- Try to get around access controls, scrape the site, overload it, or interfere with other members.
- Use the site for anything unlawful, or post anything abusive, hateful, or infringing anywhere on the site (for example in a support message or AI question).
If you break these rules we may suspend or end your account without a refund, and we may take further action where the law allows.
10. Our content
Everything on the site, including the videos, tabs, chord charts, backing tracks, written lessons, blog posts, images, the Rock Guitar Power name and logo, and the site itself, belongs to Medurik Corporation or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Buying a membership gives you permission to use the materials as described in section 9. It does not transfer ownership of anything to you.
If you send us feedback, a testimonial, or a support message, you let us use it to improve the site and, for testimonials, to show on the site with your first name unless you tell us not to.
11. The AI guitar assistant
- The public assistant on the website answers up to 10 questions per visitor per day. Members can ask as many questions as they like inside every lesson.
- Answers are generated by an artificial-intelligence model from our lesson transcripts and blog posts. To do this we send your question, and the relevant lesson text, to a third-party AI provider (currently OpenAI). Your question is not used to identify you.
- AI answers can be incomplete or simply wrong. Use them as a study aid, not as a substitute for the lessons or for advice from a qualified teacher or doctor.
- Please do not type personal, financial, or medical information into the assistant.
- We may keep questions and answers to improve the assistant and to stop abuse, and we may limit or switch off the assistant at any time.
12. Emails from us
We always send account emails such as receipts, trial and renewal reminders, cancellation confirmations, and password resets; these are part of the service. Lesson tips, follow-ups, and offers are optional: every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link and a link to your email preferences. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
13. Keeping the site running
We work hard to keep the site available around the clock, but no online service is perfect. There may be short outages for maintenance or problems outside our control, and video playback depends on your own internet connection and device. We may change, add to, or remove features and content as the site develops.
14. Ending your account
By you
Cancel your membership at any time (section 6). If you want your account removed entirely, use Delete account in your account settings on the members site or email support@rockguitarpower.com. Deleting your account cancels any active membership immediately; your data is removed after a 30-day grace period, as described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting your account is not the same as asking for a refund; refunds follow section 7.
By us
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used fraudulently, or abuses the service, and we may refuse service to anyone who has done so before. If we close the site altogether, we will give active members as much notice as we can and refund the unused part of any yearly membership.
15. No guarantees about results
Everyone learns at a different pace. We cannot promise a particular level of playing by a particular date. The lessons are provided “as is”; we do not make any warranty that they are error-free or suit your particular needs. Guitar is a physical activity: warm up, take breaks, and stop if something hurts. Nothing on the site is medical advice.
16. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Medurik Corporation is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (for example lost profits, lost data, or equipment damage) arising from your use of the site, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing limits the consumer rights you have in the place where you live.
17. If we disagree
Talk to us first
Almost every problem is solved with a quick email to support@rockguitarpower.com. We reply within 5 business days and aim to resolve any complaint within 30 days.
Arbitration and small claims
If we cannot sort it out informally, you and Medurik Corporation agree to resolve the dispute by binding arbitration under the Consumer Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, with a single arbitrator, in English, and by video or phone unless both sides agree otherwise. Either side may instead bring an eligible claim in small-claims court. Claims must be brought individually, not as a class action. You may opt out of arbitration by emailing support@rockguitarpower.com within 30 days of first accepting these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the consumer-protection law of your home country gives you rights that cannot be taken away.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Small clarifications take effect when we post them. For changes that affect your rights or what you pay, we email members at least 14 days before the change applies. Continuing to use the site after that date means you accept the new terms; if you do not, cancel before then and section 6 applies.
These terms are effective October 3, 2026 and were last updated October 3, 2026. They replace all earlier versions.
