The Storm – Mike Deiure
Here is a video of me performing a classical guitar piece I wrote called “The Storm”. I actually wrote this piece a long time ago but it is still one of my favorites to play. Check it out and let me know what you think!
*There is a little static noise in the recording but it does not last for long
Wow.. very impressive…Can only dream of one day playing that well…
Great job!!! Loved the harmonics…
That was a good piece. Maybe write smoother transitions between movements would be really cool. Then you would have a storm that turns tides abrubtly and one that takes shape slowly.
Thanks for sharing.
Didn't get to see it because problem with the upload of video.
good but has remnants of mike oldfield back in the 70's
Beautiful. I hope to play that well some day.
Quite a thrilling piece you wrote there. Reminds me of the storms we can get here in Kansas City. Great work and thanks for sharing. ^_^
Cool. Ok, now how can I con you into posting the tab, or getting the written notation, because I'd like to learn to play that piece too.
How about an instructional book based on The Storm? How about a dvd that shows how to go about creating a piece like that?
Great song, I loved the harmonics part.
Absolutely..I could close my eyes and see the whole event .. I live in Iowa and storms such as that pop up regularly in spring or fall although not quite so eloquently. Bravo, I would love to hear more of your work !
